KATCHAFIRE GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
A Golden Retriever should still be a Golden Retriever
Purpose bred. Carefully raised. Cherished for life.
OUR STORY
Golden Retrievers, thoughtfully bred
Katchafire Golden Retrievers is a small Dogs NZ-registered kennel near Dannevirke. Our dogs are raised as part of our family on the farm, with health, temperament and the versatility of the Golden Retriever at the heart of every breeding decision.
OUR DOGS
Meet Our Crew
Our dogs are first and foremost part of our family, but they also reflect the versatility we value in the Golden Retriever. From working and gundog pursuits to the show ring — and plenty of farm life in between — each brings something special to Katchafire.
OUR BREED
The Golden Retriever
Golden Retrievers are known for their wonderful temperament, intelligence and versatility. At Katchafire, we aim to preserve those qualities while breeding healthy, sound dogs who can be equally at home as much-loved family companions, in the show ring or out working.
OUR PUPPIES
Katchafire Puppies
Our puppies are raised as part of our family on the farm, with plenty of care, handling and opportunities to experience the world around them. We breed with health, temperament and versatility in mind, and take great care in matching our puppies with the right families.
